18 Jan Wedding Trends 2018
2018 is here and we have the inside trend tips for all our brides at The Hotel Richmond, Adelaide’s leading wedding function venue!!
So if you are in the early stages of planning your wedding reception let us help you with some inspiration, and trust us you will LOVE them.
In 2017 we saw the start of the hanging floral arrangements burst onto the scene and coming into the new year our pintrest and insta accounts are blowing up. With images of circular greenery and flowers suspended high above tables, and often accompanied by some loosely hung festoon lighting
We have seen them done the venue in different ways, with reefs of greenery just above the Bridal table to arrangements flowing along the length of our beautiful long table set. Which runs down the middle of the venue nicely nestled between our towering pillars of fairy lights and our ornate art deco stained glass windows.
And our wedding reception venue is just perfect for this, with wires already set in place all you have to do is clip them on and away you go. Our Wedding coordinators always happy to help lias with your florist to make sure they fit just right!
In addition to being an elegant decoration it also frees up space on the tables for other features such as candles, or sharing plates; which brings us to trend #2.
Trend #2: twenty eighteen
Grazing tables and shared dining are hot hot hot right now and we are into it, because lets be honest the shared option creates a warm loving family feel and they look amazing! We recently put together a Grazing Table for a large event of 200 persons and the results were just stunning! Cold cuts, cheeses, dips, fruits and breads, cheesy arancini balls, spicy pork meat balls, delicate mini quiches and of course dark chocolate gal lour just a few of the many delicious morsels that could be sampled from the finished product. And with rave reviews from all guests on the night we have now incorporated this into our wedding package!! Which is good news for you..
Which we are in LOVE with, is Transparent EVERYTHING! Its perfect for the minimalist couples who want a modern clean lined look.
We are seeing perspex seating charts, menus, invitations and table decorations. With gold, silver and rose gold writing being the most popular for this less is more touch! Our functions and event coordinator Paige has already mentioned this trend will feature in her up coming wedding, and we cant wait to see the results!
