Hotel Richmond is well known for spectacular cocktail style parties. Staff Christmas functions, birthday parties, hens parties, weddings and corporate networking. We are the absolute experts.

One of the biggest concerns people have when booking a cocktail function is “WILL THERE BE ENOUGH FOOD??!!” Well we say that at the Hotel Richmond, absolutely YES!!

We’re not sure why other venues don’t know this secret, but to successfully cater for a cocktail style party, the key is to have a few platters of food already out when people start to arrive. That way you avoid the rush and dive on the first platter to come out if you wait until most of the group has arrived before serving food. We also offer stunning grazing tables, which are so popular now.

For beverages we are very flexible. We have beverage package options or you can also run a bar tab on consumption. Cash bar is also an option in most of our spaces (however please note that cash bar doesn’t count towards your minimum spend – if one applies).

Our modern spin on the 1920s Art Deco façade in which we are located is dotted throughout the venue, making it the perfect backdrop for your cocktail function. With various spaces for you to choose from, we can cater to any sized party with ease. Our chef has created a menu in which guests can indulge, and be impressed by the selection of cuisines presented.

We are the only hotel that is located on Adelaide’s Rundle Mall, which means that our function venues are one of the most central available to you. Not only can you host the event of your dreams with our help, but you and your guests can easily stay at our premises, with 30 designer rooms available.

With a restaurant, bar and lounge, you and your guests can enjoy the full experience of staying at the Hotel Richmond. We can hold a variety of functions in our venues, including product launches, business conferences, birthday parties and wedding receptions.
