‘first’ Lounge, Bar and Restaurant – Level 1

Our most versatile space. This is the stunning New York loft style space on the first floor. Facilities include, large balcony, lift access, cocktail bar, beers on tap, multiple screens, wireless microphone, wifi, sound system including XLR connection for DJ.

First is often booked exclusively for large corporate events, weddings and launches. Exclusively the space can accommodate 100 – 400 cocktail style or 60 – 180 sit down.

Sections of First can also be hired for smaller events. We use large furniture pieces and the sheer white curtains to create a reserved area for  cocktail style networking and celebrations, or curtain off sections for semi private dining.

The Green Room – Level 1

The Green Room is a small private function room at the very back of First. As the only access to the Green Room is via First, unfortunately this room is unavailable in the case of exclusive hire of First. So lead time for Green Room booking is normally only 3-4 months. The room is perfect for midweek corporate use. Especially if you would like to start with coffee, drinks or nibbles in a reserved area of First, and then move into the Green Room for a presentation to your guests.

The Green Room can accommodate up to 30 guests for a theater style presentation, or up to 24 seated cabaret. If a small room is needed for networking, the Green Room is also available for up to 30 guests cocktail style.

The Private Balcony Room – Level 2

The private Balcony Room offers private balcony, private bar, private entrance foyer, private toilets, ceiling mounted data projector, speaker system, wireless microphone and wifi. The room is stunning with dark wood floors, and French doors opening the length of the balcony. The room is a favorite for social and corporate events alike. Midweek training sessions, meetings, private dining, product launches and networking. Weekends, engagement parties, birthdays, hens parties, christenings and small weddings.

For cocktail style events the private Balcony Room can host up to 100 guests. For private dining we can seat up to 40 guests on one long table, or up to 60 guests on multiple round or long tables. For corporate meetings and presentations there is a capacity of up to 60 for theater style seating, 25 U-shape, or 35-40 cabaret style.

The Boardroom – Level 2

The Boardroom is perfect for intimate meetings. The room includes one large boardroom table for up to 12 guests, ceiling mounted data projector, small balcony for fresh air and self service Nespresso coffee facilities.

The Basement Bar – Basement Level

The Basement Bar is available on Saturday nights for private parties. It is only available for cocktail style parties and is most suitable for bucks shows, hens parties, 18th or 21st birthday parties. The basement is our gaming and TAB bar during the week so it is a very different look to the rest of the Hotel Richmond.

Capacity for cocktail style parties in the basement is 20 – 150 guests.
